  We adopted a young cat from Fremont Humane in June 2017. Thankfully, this is a no-kill shelter. They saved her life. A few weeks before we met her she had a miscarriage at the shelter. She had been initially examined the month before when she arrived as a stray but it must have been too early to detect she was pregnant. She could have died if not with them. They got her immediate vet care and followed with needed antibiotics and pain management. They were very helpful to work with and made the adoption experience very positive. I recommend this shelter to friends.
